The Carrera brand was born in the 1950s producing sports glasses, ski goggles and helmets, thus the 'Racing Sunglasses Since 1956' tag under the distinctive red, racey Carrera logo.
Carrera also produce excellent optical glasses frames and indeed have their own Optyl patented material. Many of their glasses and sunglasses are made from this injection moulded frame material.
Carrera have stayed leaders in the sunglass and glasses industry by staying ahead of their time but ironically it is the '70s and '80s retro sunglass styles that are putting Carrera sunglasses in the spotlight and on the faces of movie stars and divas such as Brad Pitt and Lady Gaga.
