The Nike Impel sunglass temples are made of magnesium, and have cam action spring hinges and the lightweight sunglass frame is made from a patented nylon.

The lens is 'cut away' from the top of the frame to reduce fogging and the nose bridge is ventilated to help with that too. The nose bridge is also adjustable to further improve comfort, a hugely important factor when you are pounding the pavements.

Like the other Nike running models, Impel Swift and Tailwind, the Impel sunglasses have a very light yet secure feel on the face.

The Nike Maxadapt lenses are photochromic lenses which lighten and darken automatically. If the sun is out they go dark, if it goes back in, they lighten down again to their base tint colour.
