Kimi Raikkonen, long associated with Tag Heuer, was invited to design sunglasses in celebration of his World Formula 1 Championship win. His aim was to develop a sunglass that both he and his supporters would be interested in wearing. We think he achieved his goal in this special edition sunglass.
The alloy frame has hollowed out temples to add to the lightness and asthetics. The cleverly designed front hugs the face to keep out the light without annoying the cheeks.
Kimi's logo is laser engraved on the right temple and the temple tips' special elastomere material ensures good grip. The superb lenses, each size 64mm, made from Makrolon polycarbonate material make use of the latest patented technology. They are polarized for reflecting glare and dazzle, hard coated to take the knocks, oleophobic coated to repel grease and dirt, and anti-reflective coated.
