The Rx inserts can be glazed with prescription lenses and then clipped in behind the sunglass lens instantly turning them into a pair of prescription sports sunglasses. This is what Adidas mean by 'Rx Ready' sunglasses or goggles.
The rimless Rx insert lenses are a little more expensive but the finished job is cosmetically superior and visual interference is reduced as there is no rim around the insert lenses.
